Hike the Samaria Gorge - a new travel poster about Crete

If you have the opportunity to travel to Greece and enjoy hiking then you need to plan a hike down (or up) the Samaria Gorge—the largest gorge in Europe. Open in late April or early May after the snows melt. You start high in the White Mountains of western Crete and hike down to the sea. Along the way you have the opportunity to see fantastic rock formations and possibly the Kri Kir - the native Cretan goat. Stop along the 16k route for a lunch break and when you finish the hike swim in the sea. A ferry takes you back to your bus. A long day that starts well before dawn but worth every step in this beautiful gorge.

Printed on an Epson P7000 wide format printer on double weight matte paper with archival inks. Choose from a ready to hang framed poster or an unframed version. The poster measures 16 x 20 inches.
