As you drive through the country side to get to the falls you have no idea something as spectacular as these falls could possibly be in this location. The area is dry as bone with rolling hills and outcroppings of lava rock. Spend time at the falls and hike to the top of the falls and look over the edge to the water 198 feet below. Lots of places to hike around the park and get great views of the falls. And remember someone went over the falls in a kayak and survived the descent!
