This image comes from another ferry trip while in Greece. If you travel between the islands in Greece you will at one time or another be on an overnight ferry. I have not done much sailing or travel on the sea but have enjoyed each and every moment I have been able to do this. It is hard to sleep when there is so much to see and experience even late at night when there is only a bit of moonlight to illuminate the tiny fractions of islands that as so abundant in the seas around Greece. Ferries pull in and out of tiny ports all through the night as you wait for your port. The sea is never still never without something moving its surface. This piece is a reminder of that motion—constant, colorful, memorable, and coming up from deep within the sea.
