The paintings in this series are from trips to Greece over a ten year period…

and explore the idea of how memories are contained and in what form they take. I chose to “contain” the memories in the shapes I encountered throughout Greece—as seen in museums, shops and stores. Some memories are more complete than others, some have faded, some were never very complete from my first few trips before I began to understand how Greece is organized and layered.
